Cochin Bakery is one of the oldest bakeries in Kerala and was set up in 1939. In its early years, it has seen patronage from members of the Cochin royal family as well as Indian and foreign dignitaries.
The award-winning bakery has led the way in the creation of new kinds of cakes and delicacies like the Japanese cake, butter beans, tea rusks, and the more recent ghee cakes.

Although headquartered in Kozhikode, they returned to Kochi in 2006 and now have two stores in the city.
